Creative marketers on a mission to help organizations win with the power of video.
Our founder Bill Baraona is no stranger to what it takes to run a business. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, he witnessed both the hardships and joys of building businesses from the ground up, including confusion around marketing.
Bill realized that even though business professionals are well versed in their industries, many lack understanding of how to create and use effective videos. They feel like they’re failing because they struggle to obtain new leads or drive sales with their existing content.
In 2016, Bill and his wife Jackie started Flex Media with one simple goal: to help their clients use content to grow their business. Flex Media was born.
Over the years, Flex Media has added and continues to include talented individuals with backgrounds in writing, producing, filmmaking, marketing, sales, and business development. Such diversity enables the team to "flex" between skillsets to help clients achieve business growth by creating powerful videos and offering education on how video marketing works.

Bill Baraona
OWNER/FOUNDER
Flex Media’s founder and video marketing strategist has over a decade of video production experience. which allows him to combine a variety of production styles and marketing tactics with today’s new technology to deliver effective video content for business owners and marketing and sales teams. Bill has been recognized as Engage! Cleveland's Small Business Young Professional of the Year and a Distinguished Alumni of the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. Additionally, Bill is a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. When he’s not watching YouTube tutorials, listening to marketing podcasts or playing with his camera, he’s a family man and Parma resident and advocate. He enjoys watching movies (especially Ghostbusters), and can often be found on the shores of Lake Erie.
Kathie Taylor
PARTNER/LEAD PRODUCER
Flex Media’s copywriter and video producer has a decade of trade publishing experience under her belt. With her journalism background, and childhood of writing poems and plays, she combines technical writing and creativity to craft words that tell stories to market messages. You can find her hiking on one of Cleveland’s many beautiful Metropark trails.
Josh Lawhorn
LEAD VIDEOGRAPHER AND EDITOR
Josh is Flex Media’s lead videographer and video editor. He graduated from Cleveland State University in 2018 with a degree in Film & Interactive Media. Josh’s professional video experience includes live broadcast horse racing, documentaries, and corporate business work. He directed Flex Media’s mini-documentary for the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation, Olympic Oaks, Continuing Jesse Owens' Legacy, which won Best Local Documentary in the 2022 Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. Josh has a passion for filmmaking and is Flex Media’s local cinema buff.
Liz Ward
VIDEO EDITOR
Liz is Flex Media’s audio engineer and assistant video editor. She graduated from Tri-C in 2023 with a degree in Applied Science in Recording Arts and Technology. Liz has experience in live broadcast, pre and post production, and films. She has worked with JazzFest 2021-2023, Tri-C’s Student Production Office and Media Center, and has participated in Tri-C’s Film Academy 2023 as an Audio Engineer. Liz enjoys listening and making music by writing songs and singing them in her free time. She is usually catching up on the latest fantasy book.
Jessica halas
VIDEO PRODUCER
Flex Media’s video producer. She graduated from Cleveland State University in 2019 with a degree in Film and Digital Media with a minor in Theater. Jessica’s professional experience ranges from project management, videography, and video editing as well as her ability to feel comfortable in front of the camera as an actress. She has a love for pickles, playing multiple sports in her free time, watching a good movie, or geeking out over cats.
Jackie Baraona
PARTNER/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Flex Media’s graphic designer helps bring brands to life. She enjoys combining color, typefaces, textures and other elements to create images that are not only visually interesting but drive ROI. She has 12 years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in visual communication from Ohio University. In her spare time, she is passionate about creating programming and events for young professionals in the Parma area.
